OK MoMs - biting

Unique problem that I think only you guys can empathize with lmfao James has started crawling, while Simon is still mostly just scooting... James has two teeth on bottom. Just today, Simon has started screaming bloody murder on two different occasions - the first time, James was biting his left foot - the second time, James was gnawing on his hand. Has anyone had a similar problem this young??? Were you able to do anything about it besides split them up? I'd rather not have to do two separate playpens when I'm cleaning/bathing, but I don't know that there's anything else I can really do... I don't expect a nearly 6mo old baby to really understand that he's causing someone pain.... but holy hell...

My son bites me! Luckily I've stopped him from biting his sister but I guess I'm tasty to him because he's gotten me 3 times and hard! I just try to get him a teething toy or oragel. I'm interested in what others say.

At 5m there's not really even a point to saying "no" or anything like that - you know how clueless they are at this age. I guess separating them is really the only thing you can do? I mean, there's just no way to get that message across for quite some time yet. He just at that mouthing age and everything is going to go in...even Simon's foot! :-)
