I just put a fresh insert in and we're good to go unless there's poop on it. Then it goes in the wash. If it's particularly wet then I set it aside to dry and use a different one.

I just use one of the wet cloth wipes I have on the changing table. I actually don't do that very often - I hang over the hamper if damp but not poopy, and throw in the pail if poopy or if I'd already used that cover for a couple days and it's wet with pee.

Haha... Okay so I lied. I was afraid to confess to this too. I do use the cloth wipes for her bum. But not often for the covers.
