NBR floor cleaner

Can anyone recommend or praise a good method for consistently keeping tile floors clean? I have 2 dogs who get my floor dirty the moment I clean it, it seems, but my vacuuming and mopping just doesn't seem to cut it no matter how often I do it. My feet are dirty as soon as I walk on the floor after cleaning. And with DS walking and crawling, he gets "blackened" too. Gross, yes. I'm looking into a swiffer wet jet type thing, but most of my house is tile and I feel it would take forever to clean with that. I've also looked into the shark steam mop but I feel like I would have to vacuum and mop before I use that. Ugh. I just want cleaner floors!!!

  • I like my shark for everyday use.  It doesn't really clean clean your floors, but if you give them a good scrub and then use it daily, it will keep them pretty clean.  It is easy enough to use that it probably takes me less than 5 minutes to run it over the floor after dinner.

  • We stopped using the wet jet for exactly the same reasons as Scout said.  We use our shark often.  It's as quick and easy as the wet jet, no toxic chemicals, and there's no refills to buy.  We still ave to sweep/vacuum, but I always felt like I needed to do that with most other options too.

  • I have a shark steam mop and love it. You have to sweep first of course but the steam will clean it after that. No need to mop beforehand.

  • I love the shark steam mop. Usually I vacuum my floors every night after DS goes to bed and then clean with the steam mop after. It takes me all of 15 minutes. I try and clean with mr clean 2 times a month as a more deep clean.

  • Like others have said, microfiber for daily use, vinegar/hot water to mop.

My husband is obsessed with clean floors and DD still has black marks on her knees and feet.  It is what it is.
