anyone meal plan?

I try to encourage a Sunday planning session, that way I have a list of items from the store for the week... 9 times out of ten it doesn't happen though

So far we are having

Re: anyone meal plan?

  • This is sad, but since DH will be gone, my meals will likely consist of string cheese, tortilla chips, and microwaveable fake meat products.

    So that's planning, sort of?

  • grilled chick salad,

quinoa, black bean, feat and spinach dish

some form of taco salad or soft tacos

    salmon burgers, broccoli and zucchini

pasta and pesto from the basil in the garden

  • I keep saying I'm going to meal plan and just never get around to it. And then I end up making a million trips to the grocery store during the week because I get ready to make something and am missing one thing. Luckily we're in the middle of the city and most things are 5 minutes away!

    This is me!
  • I completely wing it. I prefer it that way. But, I'm still on maternity leave, so I can pop out for groceries anytime.

We usually have BBQ steak at least once a week. Fajitas (chicken or beef or both) once every week or two. I BBQ chicken breasts a few times a week, seasoned different ways and served with either salad, pasta, rice or potato.

We order pizza a couple times a month and DH likes wings after baseball night.

DH gets severe heartburn and I have (let's just call it...) 'digestive issues', so we are careful about what we eat.

I never follow a recipe, so I can usually make a meal when there's 'nothing' in the house. Lol.
