Hello! I've been lurking and wanted to introduce myself.
DH and I live just outside of NYC with our DD, who's three, and just found out we're expecting our second, due Feb. 2nd. (Four days before DD's birthday!) I'm 36 now, and will be 37 when the new baby is born, so I've been reading a lot and checking out this board. I work from home (which helps, given the morning sickness), and DD is in daycare full-time.
I have an early GD test on Monday (ugh, orange syrup!) since I had it last time, and we have the Nuchal scan skedded for next week. I was also offered Maternit21, but still deliberating if we want to do more extensive testing.
Hope everyone else is holding up okay and I look forward to joining the discussion here.
Re: Hello!
Congrats on your pregnancy and welcome!
Hello and congratulations!
I am new here, as well. Just officially signed up today.
I am about 7 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. I'm 38 and my two boys are 17 and 14! Baby is due Feb 15. My oldest's is Feb 23rd.
I will be taking my Glucose test at the end of this month. Thankfully it's only the one hour version and not the 3 hour version (yet). Kind of nervous about it as I have some high risk factors. I am hoping it turns out negative.
I do not know if I will get the Maternit21 test done or not.
Looking forward to following along with your journey.
