Which sports bras do you run in?

Sorry if this is already on here somewhere....

Hello...I'm a runner and really picked it up after our daughter was born. She turned 2 in march. Just delivered 2 in may. I ran up until the day before my due date but just used regular sports bras and doubles up. Prior to pregnancy 2 was a 36c. Now that I'm breast feeding again I'm huge... At least a DD. Doubling up isn't working. I'm willing to spend whatever I need for good supportive bras. Do you have any you recommend for high impact? I hate feeling like I'm spilling everywhere! Thanks =

Re: Which sports bras do you run in?

  • I bought my Brooks one at a running store. I just went in and tried on every supportive bra they sold.

  • Also, just an FYI: I noticed you are new to the bump. Welcome! You may want to pick a screen name that doesn't include such personal information.

  • Thank you I'm more of a lurker this is my screen name from before I got married over five years ago. I think I've posted maybe twice in 3 years. I appreciate the advice and will head to runners! =
  • Gotcha. I'm on mobile and just noticed a low post count. I really like the one by Brooks. I spent about 30 minutes in the fitting room trying on bras and jumping up and down in them. Good luck in your search!

Agreed. They're the best for larger breasts and running.

  • Check out Victoria's Secret sports bras. They are supportive and flattering. Lululemon's Tata Tamer is also great, but I don't know how large it goes.

I love Lululemon, and use it with Glide (that combination is the only thing to prevents the chafing I get from running - eek!).

  • I use the Moving Comfort Maia bra.  I have a Fiona bra too which I use for yoga but the Maia seems even more supportive, so that's what I run in.

  • I use the lululemon ta ta tamer! My poor boobs have since shrunk but when I was breastfeeding I was a 32 DD and those bras worked for me :)

  • I use to use the Lululemon tata tamer until they changed it, and my boobs got huge after pregnancy. Now I use the Anita sports bra. My current bra size is a 36F and these babies don't go anywhere! I LOVE this sports bra. I bought them online.
