Hi Ladies!
I have been a super duper lurker for like... a year and nine months My DS was born on his due date on May 18th last year. He struggled with breastfeeding a lot in the beginning. As in, screaming like he was being tortured. But, he quickly adjusted and became obsesssed with the breast. Anyway, we are still breastfeeding once or twice a day and co-sleeping, as well, so occasionally he nurses a little at night.

Anyway, to my point, I actually just wanted to survey and see if any other mamas have yet to see the return of their monthly surprise...? I did some research and I know it is totally within normal range to not get it back until 18 months even. Just wondering what that status is for some other ladies, especially since I know there are quite a few pregnant again!
Thanks Also, can't seem to access my siggy, so not sure what it will be!

Re: Monthly Surprise
I EBF and I still don't have my monthly "gift" yet.
If I'm anything like my mother I wont get it back until 3 months after I wean. We're thinking about starting TTC #2 in January. If I'm anything like my SIL I'll get pregnant with #2 before AF ever comes back. Wouldn't that be something? Not have a period for 3 years.
I EBF until a year and still nurse DD first thing in the morning and before bed.
I still haven't had what I consider a "normal" period. At 9months PP I had 17days of moderate spotting, a week of nothing and then a ten day FLOOD. Approximately 2 months later I had 4 days of spotting and 2-3 days barely heavy enough for a tampon. And just this week, 3 months later I have had spotting for 4-5days, but haven't needed anything more than a panty liner...
I am hoping things are just wonky due to still breastfeeding and that things straigthen out when I wean DD in the next few months, because we want to start TTC #2 towards the end of this year.
Mine is so irregular it is a surprise
This was me too. I think mine got triggered because DD started sleeping much longer chunks around this time, so I went longer without BF.
