Cooper has been running a fever since yesterday afternoon. It was as high as 103.8 today. As if having a sick baby isn't enough... his party is TOMORROW! And we catered food, so we cancel and we are out our deposit. But if I don't cancel, the guest of honor might be a fevery grumpy mess. Ignoring the whole contagious issue. Grrrrrrrrrr!

    Ugh. Hope he feels better soon. Maybe do the alternating Tylenol and Motrin to keep fever down and his mood a bit better. Doesn't help with the possibility of being contagious though.

    I forgot about alternating drugs, thanks. Poor kid, this bug is kicking his butt!

    Poor guy! We had a similar experience. 

    Olivia developed a rash and was super cranky the day of her party. The pedi said it was a virus. We couldn't cancel because we had a ton of people in from out of town so we just warned all of the parents with kids so they could stay away if they wanted and limited O's time with others. She made appearances for the gifts and cake and then took a long nap. We didn't get a lot of great pics but we all survived.  

    I hope it all works out for you!

    Yeah, I need to notify some people. Luckily the only kiddos that will be at the party were over on Monday for a play date.

    Thanks. He took a long nap and is now happily watching My Cat from Hell yelling KITTY and stuffing his face with bread. I hope he turned a corner.

    Thanks. H was on Cooper duty today since I had to work, so he has been religious about meds. We will continue to do Tylenol / motrin throughout the day tomorrow too.
