Tomorrow morning, I leave to go to New Orleans until Thursday!!  It's training for work but I should be able to find time to eat approximately 700 beignets.

Anyone familiar with New Orleans want to suggest some things to do?  The resort is next to the Superdome.  I don't mind walking all over, and I plan to familiarize myself with the streetcar system.

    Definitely get beignets at Cafe Du Monde. And if you end up near the French Market, eat lunch at Louisiana Pizza Kitchen. Really just walking around the French Market is one of my favorite parts of NOLA. Have fun!

    Hey, I'll be in Mobile this summer. If you want to GTG we could meet halfway at the Beau Rivage. :]

    We were in New Orleans in November. We ate at the Palace Cafe on Canal Street and Liuzza's by the Track. And beignets at Cafe du Monde, always.

    Edit: Posted twice, and I put the wrong street. And I'm not even drunk!
