DD is 7 months and started about a week ago waking up every couple of hours, 4 is the longest stretch, to eat, so I'm guessing it's a late growth spurt because this didn't happen at 6 mos.
Anyway, my question is about sleep time. Usually she's down by 7:30 or 8 for the night, but last night she kicked around for 2 and a half hours before finally falling asleep and once falling asleep for the night, she woke up twice to nurse. I couldn't even nurse her to sleep. She was clearly tired and dozing some, but sleep just wasn't happening. I'm guessing its because of this she slept til 9:30 this morning, where she usually up by 7 or 8.
I'd like her to stick to a 7 or 8 wake up time, but is it ok to let her sleep late when she has a rough night like that, or is it better to wake her up normal time and put her down for her morning nap a bit early?
Re: Wake up time and S/O sleep regression
Also, my LO's sleep schedule has been crazy the last two days. Like almost 3 hours off his normal nap and bedtime. He is 8 months today so I think it might be a wonder week a few weeks early
Good luck!
I've been through the ringer with sleep issues.. what time is her last wake up time from naps? We were in a weird situation our daughter is in bad need of a nap around 4pm but we have found through a LOT of trial and error that if we let her sleep any later then 5pm we have major issues - sometimes this means she only sleeps 40 - 60 minutes TOTAL all day until bedtime- that is still better then letting her sleep until 6pm..
So I'm not sure what your daytime naps look like but I discounted it for a long time but it was the one thing that made a huge difference.
