Pain :?

I'm not sure if this has already been posted about, but anyways i am 23 weeks and 5 days. I have been having extreme pain and soreness in my groin area. Apologize if this is tmi. I feels like my bones are actually hurting.i have to be careful not to spread my legs too far apart. It is so strange. I can't stand on one leg for long while putting pants or shoes on. It hurts to stand up from sitting. I am a FTM so I feel all confused about what is normal and what isn't.
I mentioned this to my dr at my last appointment at 21 weeks so she did an US to check cervical length just to rule out premature labor. Everything was fine. She said not to worry, but here I am still worrying. It hurts! I'm usually not such a complainer, but it's really starting to interfere with my daily life.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Am I just being a baby about it?

Re: Pain :?

  • No sure why my sad face in the subject like is a question mark. My bad.

  • Line gosh I can't type today
  • Is it a constant pain or is it fleeting? If it's fleeting, it's just round ligament pain which is totally normal. If your doctor said there's nothing to worry about after an exam and u/s then try not to.

  • It's your pubic symphysis. I had that pain during my 2nd pregnancy. It is horrible. So sorry you are suffering through it. Unfortunately, mine was painful until I delivered.
  • Yup.

Happened in both of my pregnancies. There is a soreness/pressure in my pelvic floor.

Its off an on, but happened during my bike ride at the gym today, so the only thing that is comfortable is walking right now.

I'm lying down keeping pressure off the area and drinking water...could be a sign of dehydration or growing.
