New here...new to CD...indulge me!

Hello all!  I'm expecting my first baby in September.  I've decided to CD, after a short period of using disposables right after I bring baby home (depends on how well adjusted I'm feeling!).

 

Anyway, I've been slowly building up a stash of diapers based on practicality...good reviews, well-known/reputable brands, whether I can take advantage of good sales... But really, right now, I'm in the mood to indulge.  I see so many WAHM diapers that are so stinkin cute I wanna puke.  A batman diaper complete with cape? A Chewbacca butt diaper?!  Ugh.  I could get in serious trouble here (my husband may stage an intervention).  

 

So, my question is, what are y'all's favorite diaper vendors just for the sake of being whimsical?  I'm wanting to drool over, if not purchase, diapers that are cute just for the sake of being cute.  Who has the cutest prints, ones that don't just include your typical owl or giraffe like the more well known brands? And, to satisfy the practical side of me, do most of these diapers actually work?  Silly question, I know, but there are so many variations of what works with what baby, and usually a lot less reviews and stuff to go by.  

 

Thanks in advance for your input... my husband and my pocketbook may not appreciate it, but I do!

    Our local BFing store sells this brand, and they fit DD surprisingly well!  DH actually reaches for them as the first pocket most of the time... Products are updated frequently, but I think the lady just had a LO so I'm not sure how that's affecting production :)  Check them out (sorry not clicky - I'm on a mac)!

    My favorite diapers are Tots Bots. They are a well know brand but I'm obsessed with their prints. I mean, a storybook line, so cute!!! And their hook and loop is awesome.

    If you're on FB, join a couple Co ops, Sometimes they will run Baby Wizard and those are amazing, plus so cute you can't stand it.  You get a co op price, so they end up being like $6 for a pocket, 7 for a bamboo pocket, and like 6.50 for a cover.

    Thanks for the suggestions!  I love them!  I really like some of the Baby Wizard ones, but it makes me nervous ordering from a website that I can't understand, co-op or not.  Keep the suggestions coming!  What about WAHM diapers on Etsy and stuff?  Are they *good* diapers, worth how much you pay for them?  Who are the best ones (I looked at the WAHM product board and a lot of the stores are defunct)?

    This is why I love ordering for co ops, because they create their own links to FB galleries and explain what everything is.  How can you beat 4 pockets and 2 wraps, that get awesome reviews, are stinking cute as hell, and cost a grand total of $28.00 including coop fees?
