Re: sooooooooo

  • Having 2 kiddos to take care of would make me extra tired on top of the fatigue I feel.  When the kids sleep I would sleep.  :-)

  • I feel this post. My kids both napped in the car earlier and I thought they'd nap longer but nope. I'm so ready for 8! Bedtime for all of us!
  • i am in the exact boat!!! i didnt feel anywhere near as bad as i did with the other two. in my last one, i ran my own preschool...this time around im a stay at home mom and i dont know what id do if i wasnt....ughhh
  • I only have one other child, but definitely feel more fatigued this pregnancy. I also felt way more nauseous with this pregnancy. Maybe it's just because I have so many other things going on, I'm not eating as much as I should, drinking enough water, etc. :P Hopefully it gets better!

  • I feel you, and am in the same boat. I've got a 4 and 2 year old, and on top of the fatigue I had with my first two I've got horrendous nausea and all day sickness. I got the pills, and my vomiting is down from 4 a day to once every couple, but the nausea is still brutal. I've been at great wolf lodge for the last two days with the kids as part of their birthday, home tomorrow, and its killing me, lol

Thisis me exactly.  I am really embarrassed by how much tv my kid has been watching and how often we have breakfast for dinner.

  • I hear ya hunny! I've also had severe m/s this time which is just sucking the life out of me. I have an awesome DH but man, we are both exhausted already! We have definitely gotten confirmation that this will be our last. I always wanted 4 but I know I can't do this again.

  • I'm crossing each day off my calendar.

My house is trashed, I have laundry baskets full of laundry (clean, but not folded), & I'm not kidding, I've been having DH buy more baskets just b/c I'm not getting it folded, so I'm out of baskets for the cleaned stuff fresh from the dryer.

The kids are eating lots of cereal & granola bars in the morning, and I have a bowl of snacks on the counter for them to help themselves with.  We pour them sippies of milk the night before, & they can grab water bottles (& neither kid should even be touching a sippy cup at their ages, but they keep spilling milk on our couch, & I've cleaned this thing sooooo many times, but if this keeps up, all I'll be able to do is drag it outside & burn it...milk is hard to fully clean out).

The kids have learned how to use to Roku on their own, all the cartoons Netflix has to offer, but thankfully they stick to PBS & Disney shows...thankfully they turn it on as background noise rather than sitting there all day, tuned in...& obviously, they have NOT just been sitting here watching tv b/c of how trashed the living room is. I have toys & coloring books everywhere...not as many crayons, though, b/c the dogs keep eating them.

I'm definitely not going to win any parenting awards during this pregnancy (or this lifetime), but, if I make the kids popcorn, watch a movie with them, take them to swim classes, & make sure they have one of their favorite fruits at each meal, they're happy.  I'm tripping over toys, but they're part mountain goat & don't even notice, so...I could bang my head against the wall for all my failures, but honestly, they aren't minding as long as I still have time to cuddle them, & can grab them clean clothes out of the laundry baskets!

And today...DH made me take a nap.  I remember why I married him when he takes charge of the kids like that & orders me to my pillows.  Hot.

  • I'm on number 3 too! I'm exhausted 24/7, it doesn't help I own a stroller strides franchise! Working out for a living does a number on a pregnant gal!
