How many weeks?

Just wondering at how many weeks do you typically have your shower?
My BFF has generously offered to throw me one and wants an idea of when I'd like it.

They are usually in the 3rd trimester. I delivered very close to my due date in March, and my 3 showers happened in January and February. There are always exceptions- traveling out of state, high risk pregnancy, etc.- but most mentions of showers I have seen have occurred in the 3rd tri.

Mine was at 30 weeks. I have a work shower tomorrow at 36. I'm pretty uncomfortable and irritable at this point, so I'd suggest 28-32 weeks.

My coworkers are throwing me a work shower this month on the 25th. I'll be between 30 and 31 weeks. My friends/family shower is on 8/4 and I'll be almost 32 weeks.

I would have probably been ok with a few weeks later, but this is what worked into everyone's schedule.

Anytime in the 3rd trimester. I have never understood showers in the second trimester.

This is my first and I'm only 14 weeks now, but my mom already booked the place for my shower and date. It will be on November 10th and ill be 30 weeks. Figure it will be easier for people with the holidays and also I will feel better at that point.

I am 31 weeks now and will be 35 when this shower happens and I am already cranky about it. It's too late...I think. If the invitations weren't already sent out, I might ask my SIL to cancel it.
