  My son has a Melissa and Doug stable that he loves.  There's also a castle version.  I've also seen firehouse playsets that are kinda like a dollhouse.

  We have a fire station one by KidKraft. It's good quality and a good size.

  Plan Toys makes a few different gender neutral dollhouses. I bought the terrace one to give DS1 for his bday next month.

  I LOVE the PlanToys Dollhouses. But DS has the FP Loving Family Dollhouse. Yeah, it's partially pink, but oh well. He loves loves loves it.

  My son has the KidKraft Everyday Heroes house. It came with lots of pieces and it folds up for storage. He loves it!
