I have mastitis and started antibiotics last night. My question is, is it enough for me to take probiotics to try to prevent LO getting any thrush or should I call pediatrician to see if LO should take it to. TIA

    When I had my uti the MW recommended both of us since the antibiotics go through your breast milk. She also said I could just give it to LO and eat more yogurt for me. GL I hope you feel better.

    Yes, my ped told me to give the probiotic drops to LO when I was on antibiotics.  GL!

    Please call your pedi before giving LO anything. Prayers your mastitis goes away. I pumped and nursed a lot and took three to four garlic cloves as well to help with mastitis. Good luck.
