Doc Appt

Son of a b... the child weighs 29.2 lbs!!!!
She is also 31.5 inches.

Do I officially have the biggest j12 girl? No wonder my side and back hurt.

Doctor said she's fine and stop freaking out as long as I'm not feeding her junk.
She also said I don't have to give her milk of any kind and just give her food and water. That's odd...

I've read that as long as they eat enough full fat dairy they don't need milk. I'm planning to double check with the pedi next week because Aubrey won't drink whole milk and only wants to nurse. She barely takes a bottle of any kind while I'm gone.

According to her as long as she gets cheese and yogurt its plenty

  • Wow Emery! Good growing!

and milk isn't necessary. It's just pushed a lot bc it's a quick and easy source of fat, protein, and calcium. If she's getting it from other foods, it's fine. The dairy industry is kinda shady honestly and we are now finding that humans don't really react too great to it

  • The no milk thing seems odd, but I am very glad that she is a healthy girl!

  • Wow!  You've got a chunky little monkey!  Don't worry about her though, most likely it will all even out as she gets older.  I would question the no milk though?  That seems odd because it is essential for her to get the calcium and other good things for her bones and to help her develop?  If you were nursing, that would be one thing, but no milk altogether seems weird.
