It's finally here! We turned in all of our paperwork at the end of March, the seminar was finally put on the schedule at the end of May, and now the weekend had finally arrived! We will spend 95 tomorrow and Saturday at our agency with a few other couples.
I have no idea what to expect from the next two days. If your agency had a similar requirement, what was it like?
After the seminar we will be scheduling our homestudy visits and interviews, so we're getting really close to the waiting pool! So excited.
Re: Seminar is tomorrow!
We had two days of adoption seminars with our agency.
Day one was a lot of info about adoption in general (history, statistics, general process) and a lot about the process with our agency. We also broke down into groups for great discussions had a panel of parents that adopted through our agency.
Day two talked a lot about outreach. It was great to hear idea and see example of what people have done.
Good luck and I hope you learn a lot!
