I would like to begin with I am thankful and excited for our little twinkies. However, I am only 16 weeks in and I'm looking and feeling VERY big and pregnant. Just looking for reassurement that others felt/feel this way and that it is possible and all will be ok, ie it is possible for our bodies to continue to stretch. I think I'm freaked bc I have a friend due 1week before me w a singleton and she's not showing yet, I on the other hand am not only showing but am fairly large, all belly on my 5 ft frame .....
Re: 16 weeks and growing fast
I believe with twins your belly will measure 4-6 ahead of what you really are. I don't think there's any way around the fact that with twins we're going to get big.
I'm 23 weeks now and measuring 28 weeks. I'm scared to see how much my stomach is going to grow!
: you are not alone!

I'm just shy of 12 weeks and I am HUGE. I haven't fit in regular pants for weeks.
My pre pregnancy size is 5'3" and 135 lbs, and I am not a "rail thin" type but certainly was very fit (ran a marathon right before getting pregnant) and didn't have much of a belly.
Now I am ALL belly. I have gained 6 lbs, but I am also noticing my face and arms are very thin for me. So I think its all shifting to belly.
I suspect us shorter MoMs to be are going to be showing a lot sooner. But everyone is different, I have had friends with singles who barely ever looked pregnant and others who were enormous - didn't matter what size or height they were to begin with.
Would just be happy to know all is good. ALSO call me a jerk, but I have already started a "twin skin tummy tuck" fund. Oh yeah that is happening.
