teas/vitamins/supplements

I'm sooo sorry, b/c I know this has been discussed, but I can't find the posts - can you tell me what teas, vitamins, supplements you might be taking to help with labor, etc?

Like Red Raspberry Tea, Evening Primrose Oil, etc?   I've taken my prenatal, calcium, vitamin C and Fish Oil for the whole pregnancy, but wanted to know some good 3rd trimester things to add.

 I'm 34 weeks.

 Thanks ladies!

Re: teas/vitamins/supplements

  • I took my prenatal with DHA and drank RRL tea.  I liked the tea a lot (I like tea in general) so I had a couple of glasses a day.  I had a great labor so maybe the tea help really did help tone my uterus.

Raspberry leaf tea; you have to drink 4 to 5 cups [8oz] a day for it to do anything.

Evening primrose oil [I started 500mg orally at 34w and was taking 2000mg orally by 38w].

    Eat dates; 5 to 6 a day.

    Eat pineapple.

  • I would also add a probiotic

  • At what point should you start drinking the RRL tea?
  • thanks! I'm gonna pick some up today!
  • Seconding the probiotic!
  • I've been drinking RRL since 17/18 weeks.  Started EPO at 37 weeks at 500 mg and now I'm at 1500 orally.

  • What probiotics are you ladies taking?
