I have a Medela PISA. Last time around I just used the breast shields that came with it.
They are only 24mm and I have large breasts. Have any of you gotten the larger shields?
My concern is that the smaller is what affected my supply last time. Will larger shields help pump more efficiently?
Re: Breast pump question
I am not an expert by any means but I know a lot of women have the wrong size shields and that it definitely can affect milk output. I can't remember where I just saw this discussion but someone linked this recently:

Hope it helps.

I was more comfortable with the larger size so I eventually used the one step up. I also used pumping pals, which I thought were wonderful. They fit with Medela pumps.
Very good to know. Did they increase your output?

From what I remember it's nipple size not breast size that the different shields are for. Not sure though. They have different charts online that show how it's suppose to look, I found this one helpful: https://www.nursingangel.com.au/pages/Choosing-the-Correct-Breastshield-Size.html (Scroll to the bottom)
For me the larger size was easier on my nipples, but I couldn't tell if it increases supply. I switched while my supply was just coming in. I had latching issues with my first and exclusively pumped the first three weeks.
Unfortunately, the did not increase my output, but they did make it a lot more comfortable to pump. I was hoping they would magically fix my supply (I had trouble pumping enough while at work), which they didn't, but I would still highly recommend them.
