  I had a coworker (a guy) just email everyone over the weekend with a picture of the ultrasound.  He was saying how he hope its a boy and call it Giovanni (he was just joking). We are a small office and so it was just fun email with some jokes and very casual.  I am thinking of a funny way to tell my coworkers once we are ready to announce it to the world....we have a few more weeks until then.

  I planned on telling everyone at once (I only work with 4 other ladies).  I was going to call them out and just say, "So I wanted to tell you all together that I'm pregnant!"  HOWEVER, one of my coworkers ASKED me yesterday if I was pregnant yet (she knew I was trying).  I'm a terrible liar so I just stood there laughing and smiling like an idiot.  So she knew.  So then I just showed my pregnancy test picture to my other two coworkers and then told the other one today that she missed my "exciting news" yesterday.  PLAN FAILED

  I told my boss first.  Then at the unit meeting (the 10 people I worked the closest with), I said I had an item for the group.  I said that as much as I really didn't want to tell them and let them debate whether I was fat or pregnant, and wait to see how long it took someone to get enough guts to ask me, I was going to cut them some slack and answer the question before they had to ask.  They were all pretty excited for me.  I let them spread the news to the rest of the department.
