Pelvic pain/pressure

For a couple days now I have had quite a bit of pelvic pain and pressure. Did not experience this at all with DS#1 so not sure what to think. I've tried changing sleeping positions and it didn't help. It is to the point that when I feel the first urge to use the bathroom- I go right then because if not it gets painful. I think possibly I am just carrying super low and it's putting the pressure all right there- but then I worry that something might be wrong. I looked online to see if it's common but most of what I found were saying it was much later and close to delivery. I am a worrier and am now questioning if this might be a sign of early labor. With DS#1 I was dilated 2cm a month before and by the time I was induced (3 weeks later) I was 4cm- and felt no different and had no contractions. So I don't completely believe that I'll know what's going on this time!

    My experience is that this happens in your second, third, etc. pregnancies. I think it's just because your body is already conditioned for the experience. I'm 22 weeks with my 6th, and I've been experiencing this for awhile. But I'm also still carrying very low. Baby likes to dance on my bladder and cervix. So far I've had no cervical changes. I know it's uncomfortable, but I don't think it's anything to over concern yourself with. If it would make you feel better I'm sure your OB would be glad to answer your questions.

    I was just in at the doctors office yesterday because I've been feeling pelvic pain and pressure low.  When I went, she said I was fine, everything was normal, but she also said it was good I went in because there could be a number a reasons for feeling that and the only way to really know whats going on is by an exam.  I would recommend calling and explaining what you feel and see if they want you to come in or not.  Also, I'm a FTM so my moto is when in doubt, it doesn't hurt to give a call to ask even the silliest of questions.  Hope you find out what's going on!
