Mine is I dont get the whole greek yogurt hype!

Also I hate when people are "OMG, BLW is the only way to feed your baby, Purees are going to lead to them being obese later in life" URGH if you have an opinion fine, but dont just make sh!t up to justify it!!

Anyone else have anything on this fine thursday?

DH is mad at me for letting my parents come visit next weekend without asking. But I threw in his face that he was making me go visit with is family (which is annoying in itself) Sunday and invited his sister (that I don't like) over to visit this weekend without asking.

I'm a dirty fighter.

I agree with the BLW thing ! I ate baby food and am skinny as is most of my family. It's genetics and don't feed your kid crap!

I went on the attachment parenting board a while back out of curiosity and someone was upset because their 18 month old stopped nursing after a bad cold. Someone suggested she give her a paci then slip her nipple in. EW!!!!!

I tried BLW and quit because it was too messy and I'm a neat freak. He got food EVERYWHERE! DS eats neatly with a spoon.

Mine is that I don't respect my SDs mom at all. She works at a daycare and was "kicked out" of the toddler room. She now works in the baby room, when she found out I was pregnant she said "Ughhh BABIES? No thanks. Diapers are disgusting, I never want to deal with babies again." I feel bad for those babies and I want to know why she was kicked out. She also let's my very immature SD feed the babies. I would flip if I was a parent at this daycare. She is also a party girl and goes out drinking every weekend. She tells the girls to find somewhere to go for Friday night and if not they are going to their grandmothers house. Now that the girls are here, she is on her annual 2 month bar crawl on our dime. Then she complains that the girls like being at our house more. Eye roll

Another one, I think I don't like people anymore. I don't want to see anyone or do anything. People irritate me. I prefer books.

I think big, extravagant 1st birthday parties are silly and a waste of money. The baby is never going to remember it, nor do they care who is there.

The populus on TB are more open about that than the general public. I agree, not EW, but I dont think it came from a judgy/immature place.

Oh God it does sound terrible!!! Sorry, didn't mean it that way. Sometimes when I'm bumping on my phone I'm multitasking and don't put enough thought into it. I BF for 4 months and had to stop for reasons out of my control but I was heartbroken and would have loved to have done a year. My family all thought I was nuts. What grossed me out was that the toddler didn't want it anymore, which seems like it would be an ok time to stop, and they were all thinking of ideas to force it on her. Believe me, I know plenty of people who do much longer....I work with someone who did it for 4 years!!!

I might be a smidge overweight, but not much, and I know I dont look amazing in clothes right now but I look ok and i actually feel pretty good about myself. This is a UO which sucks. And i get it - and go through that sometimes. But I was really hard on myself as a teenager and i look back and im like "ok - there was no need for that" so i try to be easy on myself now.

Believe me, I get it--and I knew you were kidding! PPH back! Although I'm what people would call "thin", so was my mom and now she's battling the bulge. I hate working out and that's going to be a problem. Things are not "tight" and I eat pretty well but have my weaknesses. DH has pointed out that an "overweight" person who works out is healthier than a skinny person who doesn't. So true! Got to get that heart working.

I agree. I think it's more AWish of the parents to throw a flashy party. I can't imagine that in 4 months, DS will care what kind of party or cake or presents we get him, so I'm going to keep it as low key as possible.
