I surrender!

Seriously I have a problem when it comes to constantly shopping for diaper bags. I love them. But I think I'm pretty much quitting diaper bags except when we go to restaurants. It's just so much easier to carry my backpack.

My backpack has bottle spots, front spots that are great for diapers and wipes. A back inside pocket that I can tuck a changing pad in, a separate place for my cell phone, keys, and wallet, and way more room than my diaper bag... and I don't have to balance it on my shoulder! (Which is hard but I also have a sunburn so it hurts).

But now I've created a new problem, I want a second backpack...

Re: I surrender!

  • I'm with you! I want to trade in my db for a backpack. I had DD walking through Target the other day holding my hand and my bag kept falling off my shoulder... It was that moment that lead me to that decision.

I agree with backpacks being way easier. That way both of my hands and arms are freed up.
  • Does this mean I could justify getting myself a skip hop backpack?

Of course! Molly, you deserve it all :] I love them and you can totally pull it off. Which one would you get??

Aww thanks! Smile I want to get the Bee for Chloe... I like the hippo but I don't think I want to be self conscious of my weight and wear a hippo. Maybe the fox! I like the fox!

  • Yess! I have often thought this.  I have an awesome, huge, LL Bean backpack I'd love to use, but since I often wear DS in the Ergo, that would be a little much...except they do make a backpack that snaps onto the Ergo :-)
