I have a Ford Taurus X which is a crossover/ station wagon, and we are trying to put our Diono Raxian RXT rear facing behind the drivers' side. I'm very short, so my seat leaves a lot of room in the back, and it's a very roomy back seat. However, this car seat doesn't seem to fit!! Does anyone have experience/insight? Are we doing it wrong, or does this seat really on fit rear facing in the middle? TIA!
Re: Rear facing Radian?
Actually, I'm pretty sure the car has to allow bracing too. (So double check)
It fits in our current model outback on the side. The angle adjuster gave us a bunch more room so that should help.
Another great resource is carseats for the littles Facebook group.

Sorry, you are correct. i was specifically tthinking of Ford...we've had 3 newer Fords and theyve all allowed bracing. inshould have mentioned that since i know some manufacturers like Toyota specifically disallow it.
