Baby boy has always been breech at every ultrasound (I get them every 2 weeks). Spinning babies isn't working for me.... I'm 34 weeks
I've seen a chiropractor a few times for alignments this pregnancy, most recently a few weeks ago. REALLY helped back pain I was having go away. I also have an acupuncturist I love that helped me get pg, but haven't seen her since.
Is one more successful than the other? I can't really afford - both financially and time wise - to go to both at this point. Acupuncturist is a bit more expensive than my chiro co-pay, but it's unclear if my insurance will actually cover the chiropractor at all...
My MFM & Midwife are on board with a version at 37 weeks, but would like to get this stubborn child to turn beforehand.
Re: Chiropractor or Acupuncture to flip? WWYD?
can you tell us more about your chiro? Are they webster certified and specifically working to turn the baby?
I might call the acupuncturist and ask her how many visits you might expect to need, to get a better idea of which one to pick.
Chiro is Webster Certified. He's not just a baby turner, but he said he does it a lot, and in general about 40% of his patients are pg women. He did a neck adjustment for me on my second visit which solved a 3 month long back pain I was having.
How many appointments does it usually take for a chiro to turn? An acu to turn?

I'm not sure about # of visits from personal experience. I've seen a webster chiro the last two pregnancies and am going in next week for this one, just for good pelvic alignment. Hopefully others will be able to weigh in.
I will say that when my pelvis is initially pretty off, when I start going, it takes more frequent visits at first, because my adjustments don't "hold" as well. One suggestion, if you aren't already doing this, is to consider going 4x over the next two weeks, at least. Not sure if that's financially out of the question, but maybe you can tweak the budget a little bit if this would help you avoid a cs.
More Green For Less Green
If it must be one or the other, I'd choose the chiro. An acupuncturist can't turn a baby if the pelvis is out of alignment and there's physically no room.
It took 2 adjustments (2 days apart) to flip my transverse baby vertex at 33/34 weeks.
