I'm trying to build up a freezer stash, but LO is literally always on the boob. I've read things that say to pump 1 hour after nursing. Rarely can I go an hour in between nursing sessions. Any thoughts on how to make this work?
FWIW,sometimes I think he's just comfort sucking, but I can't get him to take a paci. I've tried several different kinds to little avail.
Re: Finding time to pump
This. Right after feeding i pump whatever is left.
I feel your pain!
22.5 oz Jeesh! I'm good if I can get 6oz a day! I'm starting to pump whenever I can! Envy! envy! Envy! One boob is barely producing I think putting my son through work outs instead! I try to pump that side but its starting to hurt internally so....
Seriously. 22.5 is a LOT to pump in addition to BFing. I only pump once a day but I'm lucky to get 3 oz and that's in place of a feeding, not in addition to.
i'm guessing from context that she was on mobile and the dash was omitted (2-2.5, not 22.5).
At any rate, thanks for your help. I know this shall pass, but I have a couple of things that I need to be away from LO soon, and I want to make sure I have enough stocked up for him. Today he's been cluster feeding since we got up, so it's been exhausting, but he's let up some this evening, so hopefully I'll be able to get so re pumping in tonight
