How do I prep 4 used diapers? I believe I run a few wash cycles without soap and then one with soap, is that correct? Do I need to dry (line or dryer) in between each cycle?
Can I add my 8 new imagine bamboo fitteds to this for prepping or do I need to prep them separately? It would be nice to do it together rather than running a handful of washes for just 4 diapers and then a few more cycles for 8 diapers.

You don't need to "prep" used diapers. If they're used, they've already been prepped. If you makes you feel better, you can strip them. Which, come to think of it.. might be what you're talking about. I haven't had to strip diapers yet but I know some people just do it by washing in super hot water.
When I buy used diapers, I usually just wash once normally and add a little vinegar for safe measure.
Prep the bamboo separately. You don't want residual oils to get into your other diapers. I think they usually say like 5-10 times for natural fibers. The more you wash, the more absorbent they become.
You can also boil the bamboo fitteds too (as long as they don't have snaps) to speed up the prepping process!
