Just had my first appointment and I measured way under. 5w3d and I am supposed to be 7 weeks tomorrow. I hope I am not having a miscarriage but won't know for sure until next appointment which is in two weeks.

    Try not to stress before you have all the information.  You may have just ovulated late.

    Same thing happened to me.  I was thining I was 7 weeks and measured 5w and some change.  The US looked like a a yolk and sac with a really faint heartbeat.  I had to wait two weeks and when I went back I measure 8w1d and my timing was off (I just got of the pill for 1 cycle before we got pregnant).

    Good luck!  I bet your timing is off.  I know it's hard not to stress.

    I hope nothing is wrong either, but I agree with the other ladies. Don't freak out until you have all the facts. Good luck!

    Same thing happened to me at my u/s on Tuesday - I was measuring almost 2 weeks behind where I should be according to LMP.

    Here's hoping you get good news at your next appointment. I'd try not to worry too much until then. Like people are saying, it definitely happens.
