New mom Q: What do you pay a babysitter?

Hi Everyone!

I was wondering what you all pay/have paid for a babysitter for an infant before. I'm a FTM and clueless about the going rates. Trying to figure out how H and I can go out for our anniversary next month! Thanks!

    $10/hr for 1 kid. Possibly less if it's a teenage neighbor and the baby will be sleeping the whole time.

    We pay our sitter $12/hr because we have 3 kids who are usually awake when she is over.
