Had to stop BFing

So because of the hormones I have to take to keep this pg going I had to stop BFing. Luckily Lilly has taken to formula bottles like she's been doing it her whole life. But my bewbies are in sooo much pain! Anybody have any tips?

Also, pump just for a couple of minutes to relieve the pain. Once it stops hurting stop pumping so you aren't encouraging more milk production. Good luck!

    This is what I was going to suggest.  Obviously I haven't done it but that is what I have heard as well.  Sorry you had to stop but at least it is for an awesome reason!

    Yes! Cabbage leaves work, but it has to be green cabbage! For whatever reason, the magic won't work with the red stuff. So, you'll smell like cabbage for a couple days, but it does work, lol!

    Thanks ladies! I did hand express a little last night just so I could sleep. Off to the store I go for some cabbage!

    Double ditto on the green cabbage! I used it when I weaned DD2, and it was a life saver! Also, try as hard as you can to avoid the warm spray from your shower head. This was a nightmare for me. For some reason, it was like opening the the floodgates!

    I have to admit I had an ugly cry about having to stop BFing, and now I'm crying from the pain...not literally but you know what I mean. Target grocery didn't have any cabbage so it's off to the grocery store...
