Natural induction?

Has anyone had any success starting labor on their own?  My doctor has said that if I go a week overdue he will induce me.  I would really rather not have Pitocin if possible.  Has anybody had any luck inducing themselves? I have heard of walking, sex, castor oil, and nipple stim.  Anybody try any of these or anything else that has worked? Thanks!

    My midwife said that most first babies come an average of 10 days "late."  I would just tell the doctor that you won't have an induction unless the baby is in clear distress.  You're in charge mamma!
