PSA Free slurpee day! And a GTKY NBR
Happy July 11th! 7eleven is giving out free small slurpees today between 7 and 11 if you need a little pickmeup. Gosh it's been years since I had one!! Alas, my closest 7eleven is a bit of a haul, so I can't play today.
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood gas station treat?
For me, it was ring pops!!
Eta: extra points for pips and I spelled slurpee wrong... I spelled it slurpie. I lose.

My fave gas station treat when I was a kid had to have been cow tails, my mom and I would always buy them for movie night.
Definitely my standard now as an adult.

Favorite gas station treat - well I have a few. Beef jerky, muddy buddies (the chex mix with powdered sugar on it), plain M&M's, or some Bubblicious bubble gum.

I did too. It's actually pretty nasty....it's all dry and it loses flavor in like 5 seconds. But it looked like tape, so...cool? haha.

Hooray for a free slurpee!! I always get a bigger size but never drink the whole thing. A small is plenty.

Strawberry Slush Puppie! There was a small gas station literally a 30 second walk from my grandparents house so my Papa would walk with my brother & me to get one. I loved them!
Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.
June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!

I had to chuckle today since it is 7.11.
We were married on 7.1.11 so all I ever think of is 711 stores LOL. I have to admit I do not think I have ever had a slurpee from 711.
I always loved funny bones!!!! chocolate and peanut butter who can go wrong!!

Sooo good! Candy, gum, this thing had it all. Whip out a few of these puppies and you were instantly the coolest kid on the bus!
Also, my first ever slurpee was when I was 25, at the end of a date with DH (not like that - get your mind out of the gutter). We were walking back from dinner and happened upon a playground, played for about an hour, and then went for a slurpee. A couple of crazy kids we were back then!
