For those of you who remember I've had spotting from 4wks-8wks and the doctor was unable to give me a reason for it.
I have had a pretty rough day today
I have had mild cramping the last 2 days or so but I have been attributing to my uterus stretching. Fast forward to last night where I noticed my spotting has returned. I've been bed bound all day and unfortunately the bleeding has increased drastically - filling up the whole pantyliner at one point, but not soaking it, just staining (dark brown, watery, clotty and stringy mucus). I don't have cramps right now but I am obviously very concerned. Most especially because my loss milestone is coming up in a few days. If you have a moment, I would appreciate and welcome any TPs.
Should I go to the hospital?
Could it be 'breakthrough bleeding'?
worry is consuming me right now.

Re: TP's pls - brown bleeding
Thoughts and prayers coming your way.
If your OB has an on-call number, I'd definitely call it.

I'm sorry you are going through this. Brown blood is older blood. Call your OB's after hours office if you are really concerned.
Personally, I would not go into the ED as they can not do any thing for you. Try to rest, stay hydrated and try not to worry.
Easier said then done, I know. Hang in there. Some women spot/bleed on and off the entire pregnancy and have healthy deliveries.
Call your doctor. I have been having the same thing for over 2 weeks and they found a internal hemorrhage during my last ultrasound. There are reasons for bleeding besides the worst but it is still hard either way.
My thoughts are with you for a good outcome.

Sending lots of positive vibes your way! Like other PPs said, rest, hydrate and hopefully you can see your doc soon.
FX it's nothing major. A good friend spotted off and on the entire 1st tri (after also first having a mc). She was a nervous wreck, but baby is happy and healthy. Remember - spotting doesn't always end badly!

i really want to avoid the ER (even though telehealth directed me there) because it reminds me too much of my past m/c experience. i promise to go if the cramps return or if the bleeding increases. right now i am on bed rest. and trying hard to not worry.
