Okay, so I freaked out at DS yesterday. And the entire week beforehand. But today I had a potty training milestone: DS pooed in his pull up and I didn't lose my mind. YAAAAAAAAAAY.
I'm going to start new tomorrow. Here are some things I will do:
1. We are going back to the potty seat. Maybe I went too much too soon. DH is pretty sure DS doesn't go in the bathroom because it's boring and uncomfortable, I will put it wherever he wants me to, which will probably be in front of the TV.
2. Bucket of lollipops. I've been doing fruit snacks, but that doesn't seem special enough. I'm a teacher for Pete's sake! I have a bag of lollipops in my home office!
3. Sticker chart. I've been telling him we'll go to Chuck-E-Cheese "later". What if "later" is after 5 toilet poops? It worked for peeing.....
Deep breaths. But not through the nose.
Re: Okay.... we can do this.....(PT)
All those sound fine - I did M&M's vs lollipops- one for pee, two for poop.
A small suggestion which you can take or leave. Get rid of the pull ups and go right to underwear. Yes it is annoying when they have accidents and yes it is messy to clean up, but they actually "feel" it vs a pull up that keeps them pretty dry. And keep yourself very matter o fact. Oops you had an accident, we need to go clean that up now.
Your little guy is pushing 4, so at this point he understands the concepts- so now it is a matter of getting his buy in and being in wet, cold or shitty underwear helps the buy in process.
Good luck!

If you're not taking a break, I'd say the same thing about the pull-ups - ditch 'em.
That aside, YAY! Congratulations!!! YOUR milestones are important too, and that's a very big one!
My daycare provider actually said even for sleep, you need to ditch the diaper. Otherwise you are sending the message it's okay to pee in bed. Granted, I'm not yet ready to ditch the diaper at night. He has tremendous poops in the morning a lot, and sometimes I just can't get to him right away, especially with the twins having to eat sometimes when he's waking up. He also can't get out of his room by himself to go use the potty.
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
