Brindle is our front runner

Hey ladies I need your help. We are getting no where with our name choices. We are having a girl and I would like for her middle name to be Lynn since its both my MIL and my MN. 

DH came up with Brindle (he had a y in there somewhere, but I'm not into that). I like it, but I know it is kind of out there. It is the only name that is hanging in there though. 

Suggestions welcome! Nothing super popular and we lean towards southern / country / western but not bumpkin . TIA!

    Omg I love that name!!  Very unique.  Some other western/country names that are unique that I have heard are Riata (had a dog named this so can't use it), Delaney, Sorrel, Arrow, Laramie, Paisley, Memphis, Rylee, Lakota, Peyton (this is quite popular where I live though), Reagan.   Have a friend who named her girl Morleigh which very cute.

    Isn't bridle a type of coloring/fur on a dog? Um. Doesn't work for a person's name. Sorry.

    Isn't brindle a coloring on a dog? I'd scratch that. Suggestion: Brianne/Brianna, Brielle, Shelby (just thought it sounded southern).

    This is bad.  She will be teased  horribly. She'll probably be called a dog because it's an animal coat description.

    Brindle is Horrible for a baby/girl/woman........how about Bristol Lynn? Way better even though it is NMS.

    Brindle is not a name...it is the color of the eye patch on my dog. Don't do it.

    Saw your other choices. Choose Hannah that is an absolutely lovely name.

    I feel the same. Country sounding less common names that I prefer to this would be Paisley, Lena, Dorothy nn Dottie sp?, Jolene, June.

    Hannah and sienna are nice. Country is fine but remember you want your kid to fit in anywhere and if Brindle moves to New York she is going to have issues!

    Hannah and Sienna are pretty!

    Brindle is horrendous. I...can't even handle it.

    Did one of the PPs in this thread seriously suggest Laramie as a name for a child?? Did anyone else see that?

    Brindle is not very girly....I like Brynn but not Brynn Lynn

    what about Lynn as a FN? 

    Sienna is beautiful and Sienna Lynn is really nice....pretty girly, and country....love it

    I have a friend wo plans to use Brindle as her daughter's name (when she has one). It is really nms but it has a relly special meaning for her. I guess I don't find it as awful as everyone else due to that association. However, if there is no special meaning, keep looking. There are way better names out there.

     My thoughts exactly - my parents have a dog, a boxer, and his coat is brindle.  That's all I ever think of when I hear the word "brindle", and I've never heard of a person with that name.
