Pregnant after 35

Still a bit nauseous

I'm 20 weeks 5 days and I'm still a bit nauseous. It really depends on what I eat. This little girl is letting it be known that this ain't what I like. LOL! I thought that by me getting over the morning sickness, I could finally eat what I like. Nope, it ain't happening. Anyone else like this?

  • Sorry to hear that. Well you don't have long. I'm not like I use to be but I wish I could eat what I love. I was on Zofran but it seemed to make me feel worse, so I ate every two to three hours and it helped a lot. I just still can't eat a lot of foods. Sugar seems to be the worse for me. I don't like fruit drinks or chocolate or any kind of sweet snacks.

  • I still seem to have a sensitive stomach although the horrible morning sickness subsided a few weeks ago. There are certain foods I can't even think about. Anything too salty makes me gag. As far as sweets go I seem to go through phases much like my regular monthly cycle. I do have certain go to foods that usually settle really well. Potatoes are always good. I pretty much expect this is probably just the way it's going to be until I get through the pregnancy.
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.
  • I'm thinking it will be the same for me too. This pregnancy is no where near like my first three. I was able to eat pretty much anything after my bout with morning sickness was over. But I can't have anything sweet...only natural sweet like fruit and veggies. I've turned into a health nut this baby.
