Temper at 10.5 months!

Who else is dealing with a LO who is throwing temper tantrums already? My ds LOVES to throw himself backwards from any position, it freaks me out when he does it on the kitchen floor.

I'm not sure why he does it, but man what does this mean for the terrible two's? Lol. Also, BF'ing has become a fight, he'll arch, scream and twist his body in all directions.

Tell me other people are experiencing this!

Yep...when I walk out of the room, when I attempt to eat something solo/not share it, when I attempt to drink anything I don't want to share, when I take away a toy, when I redirect him away from outlets.

I walk away and after about 3 minutes, he stops, finds his pacifier amongst his toys, and moves on with his day.

Same here. In the past week when I tell him no and he's tired or hungry, he'll throw a fit and occasionally try to bite me. Fun times! He's got a temper like his dad.

BIG time. DS wants what he wants! If I take something away, it is a temper tantrum. If I need to put him in the car seat, he'll fight and scream. If I need to put him in his high chair, he'll fight and scream. If I take something away from him, he pitches a fit. God forbid if I am eating something different than he is - or even if we are eating the same thing but his has been torn into little pieces but mine is whole!

He is actually worse than his sisters were when they were babies. And they are forces to be reckoned with now... Lord help me.

When Jacqueline doesn't get her way like she can't move the gate in the living room to leave she cries and screams and then gets down on the floor to crawl and as she crawls across the floor she grabs everything in her path and throws it behind her.

She definitely was gifted with my temper.

Yup. The throwing her body backwards tantrums started about a month ago. Then she gets even more pissed when she bumps her head. Let the fun begin.

Oh Thank God! I wasn't sure if this was only happening to me!

DS has does the flinging his body backwards when he's not getting his way, sometimes he does it when we're holding him and its fun trying to rangle in 24 pounds of pissed off baby. The new one is at feeding time, if he doesn't want it he swats the spoon away, the dogs love it because they get whatever lands on the floor, mom and dad on the other hand are not fans of cleaning up splattered food. He's got an edge to him!
