E2 level - I'm a donor

I'm on day 4 of stimming as a donor (1st cycle) and I'm having mixed feelings about the clinic I'm going to. Before I started the cycle, they were great at explaining things, but now I kinda feel like cattle. No one is explaining much and during my ultrasounds all the doc says is "looks good; see you in three days." Maybe I just need to ask better questions? I don't know. 

 

So my main concern is my estrogen levels. I have a mirena that is remaining in place during the cycle and I suppressed with bcp for 7.5 weeks waiting for the mother's levels to improve. My e2 at cd2 was 53 and today after three days stimming was 243. We have one child and would like to ttc shortly after this cycle. Shouldn't my cd2 e2 be lower after suppressing that long? I know 50 is usually the cutoff, so I can see why it was okay to start, but mostly I'm concerned about depleted ovarian reserves and how that may effect my own future fertility. Am I being ridiculous? 

 I really want to do this for this family. I'm just frustrated because I feel like I'm kinda left in the dark. 

 

ETA: I know I'm not the customer, so I don't expect a ton. Mostly I'm just nervous and I don't know what to expect.

    Also, this is partially on my mind because an acquaintance of mine was supposed to cycle for a family and was told she had DOR and they cancelled. I don't know all of the circumstances regarding her situation, though.

    Your E2 level on day 3 of stimming is great.  I wouldn't worry about an initial E2 reading of 53.  E2 baselines can only be interpreted in context.  That's why REs look to FSH and AMH as much more telling w/r/t ovarian reserve.  I assume your levels were good if you were approved as a donor.  Don't worry too much.  :-)

    Also . . . thanks for being a donor!!!  You give ladies like me a chance we wouldn't have had otherwise.
