I got 4 oz my first pump and 2.5 my second. I decided not to do my third pump cause i'll be lucky to get 2 oz. I decided to just save it for when I get home to nurse Liam for bedtime. So starting tomorrow I'm gonna start sending in one 4oz WCM bottle into daycare. I started Christian at 11 months as well. Its 1 month before he turns one. I doubt anything magical is gonna happen in his little body from now till then that will help him better take WCM. Its bitter sweet, but i'm sick and tired of fighting to keep my supply up.

I was gonna do mornings and nights and weekends, but decided to just keep it mornings and nights on weekends as well. No need to re-wean my boobs every Monday. I will say I love the thought of not having to drag my pump and clean pump parts in just a few short weeks!!

I am so close to being finished too. I didn't think I would mind, but I Was two seconds from crying when I read your post. My boobs just can't keep up anymore. :[

Congrats! You did great, mama.

It's been 3 weeks since I've stopped pumping, and it's been great. I hope to completely wean over the next month. We are down to nursing once in the morning and once at night, and a few more times during the day on the weekend, but I don't she's getting much anymore. And, I'm just over it. Lol.

I am weaning as well. It is bittersweet. It is nice to not feel the pressure to pump enough for DD. It is also nice to be able to go somewhere and not worry about where I will be able to nurse. I have kept the morning session and will continue to do that for the time being. Good luck!

I think if I'm being honest with myself its hard because I LOVE the fact that I am providing the main nutrition for my baby. So its hard to let go. I love nursing!! I hate pumping!! I am super duper proud of myself for making this far though. I barely made it to 3 months with Christian. I got a max of 6 oz per day back then. So to get up to 16 on my best day with Liam was just amazing to me! And to successfully nurse is the best. Add to that the possibility of him being my last baby and it truly makes me sad.

I can't imagine pumping while at work so I give you all props! I Ebf from the tap.. And I'm ready to wean! In two weeks dd starts daycare and I am just going to do WCM. I'm so over nursing with the hamburger nipple. Dd turned 11 months Friday and I am done, now to give her the bulletin

Woohoo you are awesome! you made it this far and I am very proud for you. I know you wanted to BF ds since you didn't finish with your first. I threw in the towell over a month ago. Way to go LtnPrincess! Also, I think I am going to try WCM this week as well in a 4 oz bottle, so thanks for sharing!

I sent in 8 oz of BM and 4 oz of WCM. I told daycare lady to mix 2 of the bottles half WCM, half BM. KFC it all went well!!
