Thrush on one side, clogged duct on the other, and lyme disease all over. FML.
I know everyone was saying pump a lot when you have a clogged duct, but I am only pumping when it is absolutely necessary. Is there anything else I can do? Is it warm or cold compress? I thought this was a newborn type problem. I guess this is what I get for being lucky and not having an bfing related problems until now.
Re: Nipple probs
For warm a compress, I like to use a diaper filled with hot water. It lasts a lot longer than anything else! Pump or nurse right after.
That sounds interesting. I will try that when DD wakes up.
That sounds horrible.
For thrush try this site with lots of stuff you can do to help it! He's the #1 expert on it. https://www.breastfeedinginc.ca/content.php?pagename=doc-CP
For the clogged duct, try lecithin. It helps move the clog along and also prevents if taken daily. My friend, who got mastitis swore by it. For now try a hot shower and when your bewb is soapy massage it then pump afterwards.
Bewb probz suck.
