For those of you ladies who experience ovulation pain, how long does it usually last? What does it feel like for you?
I am trying to distinguish pains here lol. I often have twinges around my right ovary that I am more sensitive to since having a 4cm complicated cyst a couple years ago. I was having pain last night and this morning that are similar to the pain from the cyst, but far less intense. I was wondering if it could be ovulation pain or if I'm just crazy. I don't expect any of you to be able to tell me specifically if my pain is related to ovulation, but I was just curious about your experiences with ovulation pain.
Thank you!
Re: Question about ovulation pain
TTC Since October 2012. I’m 27 and DH is 30
DH: 4 SAs, all came back normal, blood testing 6/13-9/13 all normal
Me: 03/13 irregular cycles, hypothyroidism diagnosis
3/13 full blood panel showed normal results except thyroid
5/13 regulated hypothyroidism, regular cycles again
6/13 day 21-24 blood testing came back normal
6/13-9/13 DH testing with Urologist- normal
11/13 ultrasounds and full hormonal blood panel were normal
12/13 OB consult, day 3 blood tests and HSG ordered
01/14 HSG results normal, day 3 blood tests are normal
Just hoping that AF will back off and give me a chance to take a pregnancy test! All are Welcome!!
I feel ovulation pain pretty much every cycle. It's more intense & lasts longer(12-24 hours) when it's on the right side. But it is definitely less intense than the pain from the cyst I had. When it's my right side, it feels a lot like menstrual cramping; on the left it feels like prolonged gas pains.
I don't think it's a dumb question because I was wondering this as well.
I have read that women can feel what they describe as o pain before ovulation, during and immediately after ovulation. I guess it depends whih part of the process you are most sensitive to?
But I have no idea if it's actually O pain or gas or something. I've been feeling this for a couple days now.
This is my expected week of O and I have felt some aches but I don't know what to make of it yet.
