I have been lurking for awhile so I thought I would intro. Quick background - I went into labor with dd1 at 40.5 weeks. After many hours being stuck at 7cm and baby not descending my ob ruptured her sac. As there was meconium in the water I was allowed to labor for a few more hours under observation. Still stalled at 7cm my ob finally pushed for a c/s.
Honestly by that point I was so exhausted I would have agreed to birth through my ear drum if it would just be over (I had decided to go med free which may have played into that decision).
I knew I wanted to attempt a vbac since dd1 was a few months old. When I found out I was pregnant I approached my ob to see if they (it is a group) would be supportive. Happily I was given the green light to try despite the births only being 17 months apart!
I look forward to reading more success stories !
