I don't personally use them, but two friends have their 'now' toddlers at the Sandbox in Homer and they really like it there.
My son is at La Petite Academy and I know they also have a location in Homer. We really love La Petite - they have a great program and a very secure building with two entry codes in order to reach the classrooms.
I'm not sure if you're interested but my husband and I live in Homer and would like to do nanny share in March. (I'm due in December.) Let me know if that's an option for you. Obviously you'd need to find childcare for a little while but I think the nanny share is more economical than the daycares in the area.
I know this is a late reply, but we live in Orland and send our toddler to the Mary Sears on 108th...We have been happy with them so far, my daughter always has fun there, so I have to assume they treat her well. My only complaints is that sometimes they are not great with communicating things with us...also, they only take check or cash every month (cant set up an automatic payment plan). We plan to send our next one there once she turns 6 weeks...
