Pediatric Dentist

Looking around the monroeville or south of monroeville area for our first dental exam! Any Suggestions?

Re: Pediatric Dentist

  • Yes, I have a recommendation for a pedi dentist but he is located a little further than Monroeville. We drive from the Waterfront area to take my daughter to him...my son will start around March of next year when he's 2.5 and my babies that are due in September will also go to him. He has been doing this for quite awhile, I used to be a patient of his. Hes really good with kids and "speaks to them" to let them know what is going on. I took my daughter to a dentist who said that she takes care of a lot of kids but when my daughter needed some extra work done, they told me I would have to take her to a pedi dentist because they didnt want to frighten her and make her "scared" to go to the dentist. Anyways, we are gonna stick with him. Traveling 4550 mins, once every six months...aslong as everything checks out okay....in exchange for my daughter being comfortable and me knowing and having the reassurance that she is, I will gladly take the drive. Anyways, our pedi dentist is Dr. Ciccarelli in Cheswick/Springdale area. Right off the Allegheny Valley exit of the turnpike...about 35 mins away. If you want anymore info, dont hesitate to let me know!
  • We take our older son to Dr. Julie Ford in the Forest Hills area.  Her office is on Locust Street.  She is great!  The staff and office remind me of the 80's but they are so nice and great with my child.  They have weekend hours too.
Mom to Ryan (3/28/07) and William (10/26/11).  Surprise- We are expecting baby #3 on February 1, 2014!

  • We had great luck at Dentistry for Kids in Monroeville. It is located in that office building behind outback steakhouse. Then I changed jobs and they no longer took our insurance. Boo. Hope that helps!
  • Rodney Ross in plum.. He is great, especially with children
  • We've taken our son to Dr. Sean Gill.  He has two offices (one in Murrysville and the other in Greensburg).  He was exceptional with our son and his office and staff were very kid-friendly!
