Runners cramp???

Don't worry, ladies, I have NOT been running. Lol! But I do have this side stitch that won't go away. It's a little painful and hurts more with deep breaths or when I stretch in the opposite direction, exactly like a runners cramp. I'm well hydrated and the cramp doesn't come and go, it's been a small sharp pain for nearly 24 hours. Any ideas? I'm not overly concerned as the pain is really not that bad. Kinda like RLP but constant.

Re: Runners cramp???

  • What side and where? I have figured out when I get this its LO under or in my ribs. I lose my breath but once I move around, he shifts. I know there can be issues w directly under your right rib and the gallbladder but you'd know

  • It's on the lower right side. I don't think it's my LO though... Quite the mystery!
  • I had that... It ended up being gas and a bowel movement! Serioulsy! Thought it was like something more serious but it finally went away four bowel movements later. Hope yours does too!
  • Correction mine came and went.. You may want to call your doctor at this point
  • Thanks ladies! If I doesnt go away by the end of my work day I will give a call to my doc.
  • I had this pain yesterday it was really freaking me out... I said the same thing, that I don't think it's the baby or anything but it really hurt to twist or move or take a deep breath and really caught me off guard. It came and went for about an hour and I haven't felt it since. I explained it as a cramp when you drink too much water and go for a run, other then the fact that mine was high up in my ribs.. Not sure exactly what it was but gas does sound about right.
  • I had a poop this morning so I would think that if it was gas it would have gone with the wind, so to speak, by now, no?
  • I had this last night! I explained it the same way and I definitely haven't been running! I called my dr this morning and since I have no other symptoms swelling etc., and baby movement has been normal that its probably a pulled ligament or baby is pinching a nerve. It's starting to dull now so I'm guessing I pulled something.
