We had our miracle femara baby almost 8 weeks ago...and I know it seems crazy to think about TTC again already, but I'm 31 and it took 6 years for our little man. We are going to give it a year of just trying naturally without all of the added stress of charting/medication/etc. My question is this...have any of you ladies had any luck trying the natural route after giving birth initially? I have PCOS would just be interested to hear some success stories :
Dx with PCOS in 2004; TTC #1 since 2006. 6 failed rounds of Clomid, 1 failed round of injectibles, innumerable failed cycles of herbs, accupuncture, etc.
FINALLY got BFP on 10/4/2012 after 2 rounds of Femara
Can't wait to be a mommy!

Re: Any natural luck TTC 2nd baby?
Congrats on your LO!
No advice on TTC with PCOS I get what you mean about not wanting to wait. Although it didn't take as long for me, it took 13-14 months to get pregnant with my daughter.
We started trying again in February, and after another loss/D&C, we still haven't been able to (re)try again because my body hasn't regulated yet. It's frustrating. So I say go for it.
Not sure what you're asking about trying the natural route after "giving birth initially" but I'd probably hold off a little bit more to give your body time to heal from giving birth, but no one says you have to wait a year to try again. GL!
bfp 1 - m/c 1.31.11 @ 10 weeks
bfp 2 - baby born via c-section on 5.4.12 @ 37 weeks
bfp 3 - blighted ovum/d&c on 4.13.13 @ 8 weeks
bfp 4 - 3rd IUI, very late BFN with super low P, c/p
bfp 5 - natural bfp while on lupron, baby born via RCS on 4.27.15 @ 39 weeks
bfp 6 - surprise! baby born via RCS on 11.13.16 @ 38 weeks
And yes, I agree that it's wonderful natural to know your body, and that charting helps you to do that...I just meant that after 6 years of TTC 1 we don't want to have to analyze everything for a while. Just a short break from it after baby. Once we start really trying again it will be my first step.
ETA: No brackets on mobile? Okay, then.
There are so many stories like that. I would ask on the parenting boards especially.
I really do not understand it but it is like a clock resets for some women and although they struggled to conceive their first child, they had an easy time with subsequent children.
I understand where you are coming from which is why we always start right away because it takes a while to get a baby that sticks. I have always wanted 2U2 but it has never happened. However, the 3.5y and 2.5y spacing between my boys is great too.
GL to you!!
