An update of sorts....

DS1 has been working on canines and has pretty much been a royal pain in my arse 97% of the day, so no bumping for me. Add in the fact that DS2 has suddenly decided that he is not interested in sleeping unless he is actively nursing and it's a regular party up in here! I've been nosing around but haven't had a chance to respond to any posts. Here's what we've been up to:
1. Anyone remember when I posted about my grandpa that was in prison and how I wondered if I should finally reach out and write to him? Yeah, well he passed away a few weeks ago and I never got that chance. I'm okay now, but that was quite a blow and a life lesson learned. Never wait until tomorrow people, never.
2. We are closing on our house in 2 weeks. Squeeeeeeeeee. We had some hiccups with our appraisal, but it actually ended in us getting the house for $10,000 less.
3. Max will be 2 in 10 days and I still have no idea how I have a 2 year old on my hands. He is just. so. big.
4. Gray is fat. Like fatty fat fat. Like 20 lb 5 month old fat and I want to nom on every single roll.
Hope all is well and can't wait to see some pictures of some 2 year olds in the near future.

I hear ya, how are these kids so big? And now that we have a baby baby, DD1 just seems like SUCH a BIG kid. The difference is overwhelming when I see her next to a newborn.
I think my little one is going to be a chunk, too. She has rolls like DD1 (who was only 20 lbs at 1 year) never had. It's so cute
As for sleep, well, you have all my sympathy.
I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to send your grandpa that letter. Wherever he may be now, I'm sure he knows how you feel ::hugs::
