Veggie finger foods?

What do you feed your LO?  I feel like DD got lots of vegetables when we did purees, but I can't think of many finger foods that aren't fruits or carbs...

Re: Veggie finger foods?

  • Green beans, peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, cucumbers. I don't cook the cucumber. I just take the skin off.

He gets diced chicken with spinach. White fish or salmon.

  • He will eat anything he can hold in stick form. Asparagus, carrots, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, roasted red pepper [peeled], you name it. All roasted or steamed.

I put greens like spinach or chard in scrambled eggs. He devoured vegetable lasagna.

Then and now. How did my boy get so big?

Ooh, vegetable lasagna is a great idea.  Thanks for the ideas, ladies...

All of the above. Last night I diced and sauteed a bunch of things, mixed in shredded cheese and made veggie quesadillas with corn tortillas. I cut them into thin strips for the baby.
  • A way I sneak vegetables in: I buy the Plum Organics pouches that are vegetables and fruits combined and mix them with her oatmeal and applesauce.
  • DS loves zucchini strips, red pepper, carrots, broccoli
